Hotel Campanile Besançon Nord Ecole Valentin

To be honest, we only stayed a night in transit: it is a perfect place as it is very near the highway. The process to check in and check out was very easy and quick and we could get 2 communicating rooms. It has what you need for a night. The parking is free with a lot of parking places. It was the 3rd or 4th time we stayed there. If you do not take the breakfast at the hotel, there is a good " boulangerie" ( bakery) at the roundabout nearby.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. There was a kettle with teas, coffee and some cookies. They cleaned and tidied our room even though we only stayed two nights.

Breakfast is good for a motel type accommodation. The room is standard and basic. No hairdryer. For easy access to road and motorway it is fine for a one night stop over but I do not think anyone would want to stay for more than a night.

It is very easy to find, not far from the motorway and as it was for a stop only, it was really perfect. As the night watchman was sick the manager called us to arrange for the cards... but we finally arrived before he left. Very nice welcome. Perfect for a stop and go! Very good value for money. We will keep it in our top list as we often cross the region.

Good location for a break in the journey south. Selection of restaurants in walkable distance. Hotel restaurant wasn't open in evening but breakfast was a very good buffet and good value. Lots of parking space.
